My Two Blankets By: Irene Kobald

This book is connected to the history of a student who moves to a new country and navigates cultural differences, as well as the process of understanding and overcoming being different from the students around her. It's about a young girl who is a refugee in a new country, and she finds comfort in her old blanket and builds a new blanket, which is her new lifestyle. In the context of a case study, the book serves as a metaphor for the life-changing shock of difference and the importance of empathy and adapting to new environments. In the way of historical events, in the way of immigration to migration, and it is a conflict of which world is correct. (Kobald, 2018)

The hate you give by Angie Thompson

This is a short story, a novel about police brutality and racism through a young black woman, who witnesses a shooting and identity issues and a white neighborhood. From the perspective of multicultural literature, it's a young woman who goes to a private school and overcomes the different social worlds of who she is and the education she gets very very. In the way of the case study, it speaks about the issues of racial profiling and the injustice in the justice system. The millions were safe in the way of historical events. The novel speaks about the movement and uh situations one has gone through as the black lives matter movement, something just wasn't right against all African Americans.

As in doing in promoting multiculturalism in the way of students' diverse experiences into the classroom.

An idea for a physical classroom setup would be to have the students do either small group activities, pair activities, and individual activities, and then bring it all together as one in a classroom to make sure all students have a clear understanding of what the lesson was about. As well as inclusive language practices in having books not only in English but having it in whatever language the student is taught at home, so they feel more included. As well as not just books, but also visual art pieces or quotes that are in their language for them to feel included. (Drexel, 2020)

The establishment of community in Lawrence acknowledges and respects our students equally, as well as their own culture, trying to bring it into the classroom and day-to-day life. As well as practice cultural sensitivity in being open to new dialogue, the languages, rather than teaching one way, try to teach in a way that they were taught to make sure they have a clear understanding. (Drexel, 2020)

To incorporate diversity in lesson plans, for example, have a history lesson that incorporates their culture not just in what is taught in the United states. And if it's possible to bring in a speaker from that culture or that subject to make the student feel more welcome. (Drexel, 2020)

As well as local visits and seeing if the community is doing an event, and join along or go see what it's about. In the way of cultural festivals and whatever culture the student is be there to have a better understanding outside of the classroom perspective of the way the student is raised as in music, food and traditions
