With continued encouragement, her fine motor control will continue to develop well.

With gentle guidance, she is also able to sort coloured blocks and other objects, showing a growing understanding of visual patterns and organisation.

She enjoys spending time with her friends and interacts happily during both structured and free-play activities. Khanyisile is confident and independent, managing her eating and bathroom routines on her own. She has a strong and determined personality and often takes the lead during group play, showing natural leadership qualities. It is lovely to see how she expresses herself with confidence and enjoys being part of the classroom community.

Khanyisile enjoys using her fingers and the abacus to count objects, which helps her understand quantity and number order. She can also rote count backwards from 10 to 0 with the group. In addition, she recognises basic shapes and is beginning to name more complex ones. With continued practice through fun and interactive activities, her understanding of numbers and mathematical concepts will continue to strengthen.
