The second plane on 9/11 was a united airlines flight 175 which struck the South tower of the world trade center at 9:03 a.m. Eastern Time on September 11, 2001, 17 minutes after the first plane hit the North Tower. The flight, carrying 19 hijackers, was taken over by terrorists who forced their way into the cockpit after murdering the pilots, with one of the hijackers, Marwan al-shehhi, taking control of the aircraft to use it as a guided missile. The reason I picked this image to show people the before of the second plane landing in the tower.

Flight 93 was one of the planes hijacked on 9/11. After the hijackers took over, the passengers and crew figured out what was happening on the ground by calling their families. They heard about the other planes hitting the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Realizing their plane was probably meant to be used as a weapon, they decided to fight back. They rushed the cockpit to try and stop the hijackers. In response, the hijackers crashed the plane into an empty field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Everyone on board was tragically killed, but their actions kept the plane from hitting its likely target, which many believe was the U.S. Capitol or the White House, saving countless lives.

Today, there's a really moving memorial at the crash site called the Flight 93 National Memorial. It honors the 40 passengers and crew members who lost their lives. There's a big, white wall with all their names on it, and a walkway that follows the flight path, leading to a huge stone called the "Boulder," which marks the point of impact. It's a peaceful place that really makes you think about their courage.

I picked this because the people on the streets died and got injured from the attack and not only the people in the buildings suffered. It means that the destruction of the twin towers messed up the streets down below and got people killed during that. Also the damage it did to other buildings and cars was really bad.

This cartoon shows the before and after of 9/11. The first cartoon shows the towers perfectly fine, no disaster, and no carnage. Everyone was living normally, not truly together, but when the disaster happened, people were destroyed. People were hurt in many ways, but after all the destruction, the entire city has come together as one, one country, and one people. Brought together by distraction.
