As teachers we can play our part in the classroom. Every child has the right to climate education and we need to start now. Last week, I launched new resources inviting students to explore the power of collective action against climate change.

I started by showing my students the film "Invitation to Learn" starring incredible climate activists from young people around the world. I continued the discussion in the classroom.
Based on research, some students have found that nine out of 10 people worldwide inhale polluted air, causing approximately 7 million premature deaths each year.
Air pollution is the greatest environmental risk to human health and the health of our planet.

Other students researched climate, biodiversity, human rights, sustainable and ethical fashion, and more.
Students made suggestions to work together to live in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way for the health of ourselves and our planet.
