Statement: We can limit water usage due to the low amounts of freshwater we have. 
Research: Water is important to life, which makes the increasingly loud warnings about water scarcity and impending global water crisis so concerning from world leaders.  Cities across the world are becoming increasingly thirsty as the demand for water grows and supply dwindles. 
Examples: More than half of Earth’s 37 largest aquifers are being depleted.  Australia, California, China, India, Pakistan, and Africa have little water. Explanation: Freshwater is becoming less and less. 

Statement: My first point is that if water usage increases, so does contamination

Example: Some countries have a strictly limited water supply due to contamination constantly affecting water. 

Explain your argument further: Some states already have limited water supply for various reasons, and if it continues, there may be contamination throughout the country. 

WATER IS NOT UNLIMITED 

 

State your argument: We all know water is essential, but too many of us think it's unlimited The reality is that fresh water is a finite resource that is becoming scarce. While water is constantly being recycled through the Earth's water cycle, people are using up our planet's fresh water faster than it can be replenished. 

What’s your research that supports your argument? Using water wisely will save you and money on your water and energy bills and will help to extend the life of existing supply and wastewater facilities 

Give an example: A warming climate is drying up our lakes and rivers. In Saskatchewan, as demand grows for expanding irrigation, communities and industrial use, so too does the risk of contamination. The easiest, most cost-effective and powerful thing we can do to protect and preserve water is learn to use less.

My first point is…we only consider a small fraction of our individual water footprint (3%)
