Finley is very intelligent and is well rounded in almost everything.
From childhood, he impressed people with his intelligence and athleticism.
This got him used to being better than everybody (<-- Internal Conflict)
One of the few people in America that is wealthy enough to live a nice life.
He lives off of his own energy which is the only reason he gets electricity
He lives in Colorado
Runs the only oil company left in America
He is he son of Dick McNamara who went missing right after Finn's 18th Birthday

Starts with Finn walking back to his apartment from the offices.
People sit in the streets, trash fires, tent cities. So on.

Where is everybody

Finn was a young boy when he saw the broadcast of John Galt.
He was the same age when Dagny Taggart and Hank Rearden finally went missing with all other great minds in the world.
This speech inspired him strive to be the best he can.
In colorado, he makes his own money selling the oil from Ellis Wyatt's old site. He makes his own energy and travels by car. He decides that the world as it is is terrible, so he tries to hunt down all the great men and women who went missing before the speech of John Galt and hopefully bring back the formal world from a dystopian society. He first goes to Hammond Motors, that last car company that went out of business. It is completely abandoned. But he does get the feeling someone is following him or somebody is there with him. Finally he sees a tranquilizer dart fly next to him. He gets out as fast as he can

The hunt

This whole journey, someone or something is trying to stop him. He gathers info from every company all the while being hunted down. He goes to the mills of Rearden Metal, Hammond Motors, d'Anconia Copper and more. Then the government finds out what he is doing and tries to stop him. Now there are two different entities trying stop him

James Taggart

He goes to try to find information on the whereabouts of Dagney Taggart and the rest from her brother James. He soon realizes this is a mistake. James goes on about how the world is better without their corrupt minds. There is a change in his mind that there is no saving the world, that their disappearance was inevitable. James turns him into the government and he is now trapped and captured

The Land of John Galt

Finley is in the back of a government vehicle with the Secretary of State. The same tranquilizer dart hits the driver as the one that almost hit him at Hammond Motors. The van tumbles on the highway as the driver lays limp in the driver's seat. When he gets out of the vehicle, someone grabs him and they are off to somewhere new. 2 people take him away (John Galt and Francisco d'Anconia). They arrive to John Galt's utopia and he discovers where everybody went. A functioning society where everybody gets what they work for. He finds his place and stays there shrugging the weight of the world off of his back.
