I am from cat whiskers, Ulta make up stores, and my old art sketches.

I am from the smell of smoke and white and grey walls.

I am from cat fur in the air, a sliding glass door, my comfortable bed, and beige walls.

I am from smells of baking and sweetness coming from the oven.

I am from roses, sunflowers, thorns, red, yellow, and pink.

I'm from a Thanksgiving dinner and giving thanks for what we have, from Billie and Clinton and Sheila.

I am from positive and negative.

From not eating watermelon seeds and never giving up.

I'm from believing in positivity and not hatred, from never hating because of something someone can't change about themselves.

I'm from Tennessee, mashed potatoes, and corn.

From brown eyes and long brown hair, warm hugs from loved ones, the long eyelashes.

I am from going on vacations, moving to a different house, and shopping. From colors, my clothing, my family, my world, my childhood.
