Description: Canva is an online design platform that helps create graphics, presentations, infographics, social media posts, and more. There are a lot of templates and design elements, as well as the ability to collaborate, which shows that it is very accessible, even for beginners.

Why I want to use Canva: I want to use Canva to help me create visuals for my classroom. Whether that be creating presentations that go along with my teachings, posters or infographics as reminders of what we learned, or asking the students to demonstrate their learnings with the site. It could be another way for students to show their knowledge and be creative.

Description: Mural is a digital collaboration platform that is very useful for brainstorming, and teamwork. It provides an online whiteboard where you can create diagrams, mind maps, and sticky-note boards to organize ideas.

Why I want to use Mural: I think mural is a great tool for monitoring students' learning and brainstorming. For personal use, I would like ton use mural to brainstorm ways to make the curriculum more engaging or brainstorm activities that I could do for each sections of the curriculum. And for student use, I would like to use it as a resource to encourage collaboration. From my experience, it has been a great tool to discuss, brainstorm and organize ideas and was perfect for project planning while all being remote, so I believe it would be a great tool to implement in the classroom.

Description: Scratch is a simple, beginner friendly way to learn coding. There are many interactive stories, games, and animations and plenty of tutorials to help guide the students. It uses blocks that snap together, so you don’t need to type any code. It’s great for beginners and kids to learn problem-solving and creativity while having fun.

Why I want to use Scratch: It introduces students to independent learning and how to use technology. It helps students learn simple coding and encourages their problem-solving logic and creativity so I believe that using this resource in my future classroom would be a great idea.

Description: Padlet is a website that helps you create a visual board. It allows collaboration since people can make posts with text, images, links and more. This board is where people can share and organize ideas and even comment on other posts.

Why I want to use Padlet: The main reason I want to use padlet is for classroom collaboration. I want students to be able to post their ideas and interact with each other on their assignments. I think it would also be interesting to use it in the way that I am using it now - to give the students access to important resources. Overall, this is a very interactive and interesting website and I would love to use this in my future classroom.

Description: Slido is an interactive website that encourages engagement in the classroom. It is a tool that can be used to create quizzes, polls, word clouds and more. It allows students to participate anonymously - once again - which encourages engagement and it is great for checking the overall understanding of the students.

Why I want to use Slido: I want to use slido mainly to check students' understanding, but also to receive feedback. Slido is a great opportunity for students to anonymously show their understanding in a fun and interactive way. I want to use it for polls and open-ended questions with word clouds to visibly show the students theirs and their peers' answers (anonymously). I also want to use it for some feedback or Q&A possibilities. This would include students being able to submit feedback on things that I do that they like/don't like and also ask anonymous questions that they may not feel comfortable asking.
