The bags turned out to be custom made for the organization, and they could hold a lot of stuff. Each bag is customized, so there was different things in each bag. For example, one patient liked llamas, so she had llama themed toys and activities in her bag. First, I took the price tags off of  the items, which just came from the store. Then, we put the bigger things in first, then put the little things in smaller pockets. The items in each bag included books, toys, and games. Bags of Fun also puts games and toys in sibling bags, which is for the siblings of a patient. If they have to spend lots of time in the hospital, the games will keep them occupied. In total, I stuffed four Bags of Fun and one sibling bag. The next day, the woman who helped me with volunteering took them to Children's Mercy to deliver them to the patients. With the help of social media, people are donating money to Bags of Fun. I was nervous about doing it at first because it would include more work than the previous project, and there was a lot to do for it. But after getting it done, I look back and realize that I had fun doing this project. I liked going to the KC Bags of Fun location and helping stuff bags. I learned so much, and met some amazing people who work there. While researching, I understood how important the organization is to children who are sick and their families. The bags make children happy, and can even help with the recovery process. The bags distract the kids from the bad things happening in their life. Donating to Bags of Fun through social media is also very important. The organization can use the money to buy toys and games for the bags. I am happy so many of our friends and family are seeing how important this cause is and donating. I'm proud of the poster I made as well. It is fun, colorful, and provides great information on Bags of Fun. I had fun making it! I'm glad that I was able to make a difference in the lives of so many children. I even saw photos of children receiving the bags that I stuffed! I'm glad I could make them and their loved ones happy.
