I ran through the forest. there's a sour smell in the air as I pass the giant creatures. They have four legs, and long sharp claws that pierces through the fur of the other creatures. Then I realized they are fighting each other. The sour smell was the stench of blood leaving them and sinking into the dirt. Suddenly I felt their pelt brush mine but they did not attack. Then I saw the sky go dark and I could not hear the yowling of the creatures or singing of the winged anymore. The sun was covered! Suddenly I heard panic yowls, and mews. All the strange creatures had disappeared into the forest, some going toward the lake, and river. A few hours passed and the sun came back. I started hearing songs of the winged creatures in the trees again, and there were no more angry yowls full of painful screeches. I quickly ran through the forest once more to find the only being that would know what happened, Snowfrost. Snowfrost was the only one of the huge creatures I could understand. She would know what was happening.As the squirrel ran toward the forest he felt the rain soaking his pelt, as cold as ice. he couldn't forget the moment the sun disappeared. Above there were millions of birds flying. The wings sound as an audience of clapping hands, a constant rhythm and as I opened my eyes I saw the beautiful orange rose in the sky, blossom. It was cold like a thin piece of ice ready to break under my feet. I saw the field of endless grass stretch and bend as a gentle wind blew across the small blades. I knew right then, this is a moment of peace in the world.

Chapter 2

As the curtain of night fall swept over the forest the shower of rain grew ice-cold while it soaked the frosty-white pelt of a young cat named Snowfrost. Eventually the path had led her to an abyss of darkness.As I roamed through the tunnels the dirt path turned into water under my paws. I kept padding along until I swam! The watery path looked as if starclan themselves were watching over me through the water. Soon I came to the end of the abyss of the starry water. I must continue the path to moonpool.As I made my way out of the tunnel and into the forest I heard snapping twigs. I looked everywhere and saw no sign of anything coming here in years. All of a sudden I saw an orange blurr leap out of the bushes and toward a tree stump. It was a beautiful fox. As it stood there the wind cared orange and red leaves across the mist forest. Soon i continued walking and reached a familiar twoleg nest so i approached it.As I approached the giant twoleg nest I see a dark figure staring back at me. It’s eyes seemed to glow against the light. In the air I smell the fresh cut grass as my paws walk through it. Even though the fight was long past I still could hear the pain filled mews, and yowls like a haunting memory. It seemed to never leave me. Then I realised that the dark figure was a small squirrel that looked similar to the other squirrel i befriended years ago. Then i saw a large black and white tabby tom sitting on a fence.I ran up to the cat sitting on the white fence.

“Who are you, and why are you so close to the twolegs!” I said nervously 

“I am up here because this is my home, and my name is zepplin! what is your name?” he said excitedly

“I am Snowfrost, and if you live here you must be a kittypet!” I said annoyed

“What’s a kittypet? Is it a good thing? If i’m a kittypet what are you?” zepplin asked curiously

“ A kittypet lives with these twolegs. Kittypet isn’t a good thing to me. Also I am a warrior of the forest. There are four clans, and we all play our roles to-” I said proudly before he cut me off 

“ The forest? You must know who Firestar is then!” he said, amazed.

“How do you know who Firestar is!?” i asked angrily.

“He was a friend of my father’s father many moons ago” he said in a calm voice
