Block above block, each storey smaller than the one below, the tall houses rose in great stone steps into the blue sky. At their feet lay an untidy group of low buildings, and on three sides the tall rocks fell straight down into the plain. A few columns of smoke rose into the still air and were lost.”- excerpt from the novel</li><li>Based on Lenina’s comments, the setting gives off a dirty, almost repulsive feel.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
