Main Events: They give Ares his shield back and they get a ride in a truck that is an animal smugglers truck they help those animals escape and are now in Las Vegas. They get basically hypnotized into staying at this hotel for free that has all this fun stuff but they get hypnotized into staying there for 5 days and now only have one day left for their quest.

Main Events: Percy goes underwater at Santa Monica and talks to the same woman he saw in the Mississippi River, she gives him three pearls that he can use if he is in trouble. They then try to find DOA studios in LA and on the way they meet a group of mortal rich jerks in an alley. They run away and evade them by hopping in a store it turns out Procrustes runs this store and tortures Annabeth and Grover but Percy saves then but not before they get stretched out a little. They then find the address to DOA studios in his store.

Main Events: Percy, Grover and Annabeth go to DOA studios where they meet Mr. Charon They go to the Underworld and get past Cerberus by distracting him with a ball. But when they go through the metal detectors they get caught having magic. They take off but now the Furies are after them.

Main Events: The trio gets into the Underworld and talks to Hades, he thinks that Percy stole both the lightning bolt and His helm of darkness. Hades is about to kill them but they escape using the pearls he got.

Main Events: Percy battles Ares and wins he gets the Helm of Darkness and the Furies are taking back to Hades and telling Hades the truth.

Main Events: Percy returns the lightning bolt to Zeus and he meets his father. Poseidon tells him that Hades allowed his mother to be alive and that she is at her house. He also says that there will be a package in Percy's room that allows him to decide his fate. When he gets back his mom is happy to see him but Smelly Gabe is not. The package has Medusa's head in it so he can turn Gabe to stone they don't do it but I think his mom is going to when Percy leaves.

Chapter 22:
Main Events: The prophecy comes true. Percy goes into the forest with Luke but Luke tries to kill Percy with a scorpion and Luke reveals that he was the one who stole the Helm of Darkness and the lightning bolt. Percy barley makes it back to the big house before dying.

Percy, Annabeth and Grover talk to Luke through a mist screen instead of a phone.
Percy meats Ares and he sends them on another quest to go get his shield back that he had lost.
They get the shield but it was a trap.
The trio gets into an animal smugglers truck and they ride to Las Vegas.
They all go into a casino and love it there but Percy gets everybody to leave after discovering that the casino had made a lot of time pass quickly.
There is now one day until the deadline and the war breaks out between Zeus and Poseidon.
Percy gets some pearls from underwater lady from the tower incident.
The trio get to the underworld.
Annabeth plays with Hades dog.
Percy Annabeth and Grover talk to Hades.
Hades didn't steal the master bolt but he thinks that Percy took his crown.
They use the pearls to escape before Hades kills them.
Percy and Ares have a fight and Percy wins!
Percy gives Mrs. Dodd's who randomly showed up the crown to give back to Hades after getting it and the bolt back after defeating Ares.
Percy gets on a plane which I think he's not supposed to do according to Zeus.
Percy returns the lighting bolt weapon to the 600th floor of the empire state building.
Luke tries to kill Percy for some reason.
Luke stole the lighting bolt and crown.
The book ends.
