Each person collected and brought in some fashion items and clothes that would be used to put together outfits for our shoot. On the day of the shoot we worked together with the roles we gave ourselves, to set up and prepare for the photoshoot. All the Fashion stylists, Creative Directors got together to test out and match up clothing pieces and create the final looks, whilst the Photographer, Production Directors and Photography Assistant set up the lighting, background and Camera to prepare to start shooting. As the Fashion Stylist and Creative Director, I was always on hand to fix and change the model’s look, touch up on hair and accessorise her to match the style as we had limited time on our hands to photoshoot the model. Although, there were a few minor computer issues, our photoshoot went smoothly and was a success. After sorting out our top final 5-6 images, our editors started working on creating samples and as a group we discussed and chose which edit and image we would use for our final piece to print out. 

I think that the collaboration with the Digital Photography students went really and our project was a success. I really liked how we got opinions not only from Fashion Promotion students and tutors, but also the Digital Photography students and tutors as this helped broaden our knowledge on Fashion Photoshoots, Photography and also editing, which will come in handy for the future. My group worked really well together as we understood and took in each person’s opinion and thoughts on Fashion and Photography and the collaboration in general helped me become more confident and get more involved with the group and share my ideas. I really enjoyed the whole process of coming up with looks and outfits and then photo-shooting them as it came me insight on what a stylist would do for a real photo shoot.
