<title>The Scope Perry Preschool program helped poor minority families. In these studies, 3 and 4 year-olds would receive exceptional education and educational opportunities. The teachers of these preschoolers would go to their homes to discuss what they are learning with the parent(s). The parent would then be able to assist the child with what they are learning. These children tended to be more successful and avoided crime/violence.</title>

<title>In the situation of the two boys who are being tried for 1st degree murder, controversial topics have come up. Some of these include if children should be helped in a juvenile setting or if the boys should be sent to a prison for adults. The information we read about prevention tells us that these boys need help with developing and should not be locked up with adults. They are more likely to be a better functioning citizen if they receive help and care in a juvenile setting.</title>
