I know plenty of people love kpop because of their use of experimental styles, bubbling personalities between the group members, and their catchy tunes despite not being in English to some fans. Kpop has been a worldwide phenomenon with over millions, if not, billions of fans, heart-racing beats, and a new teenage heartthrob at every turn. Some of the most famous bands include Big Bang, GOT7, TWICE, and EXO. These groups have made multiple tours around the Asian continent and world tours. As I listened to some of the more popular songs such as “Bang Bang Bang” and “I Need You” I started to understand why people liked these songs. Most kpop songs are in Korean, but a lot of the artists will put English words or phrases to attract Western audiences. It’s a smart idea and I did start to enjoy some of the unforgettable melodies and I thought the choreography was a bit different but still really impressive.
