Plogging simply means jogging and pick up. It is a trend that originated in Sweden in 2016 where joggers would pick up trash while running along the beach. Since then an estimated 2 million people plog daily in over 100 countries


In Malaysia many NGOs have joined efforts to help clean our beaches such as Persatuan Cuci Malaysia, and Malaysia Plogging Community. 

Plogging has many benefits both in terms of health as well helping clean up nature.

It cleans up over 1/3 of trashes in the ocean as scientist estimated around 5.25 trillion pieces of trash found and float on the surface of the ocean

we want the beach to be trash free, so our children will not only connect to our ocean, but also care for it.
