I feel like that snowman from that one movie except there is no way I’d sing about it. I rather suffer in silence or listen to top hits from 2013, you know? I just want to not have to go to school and go see my family and stuff. Every year we drive up to New Hampshire because we own a cabin up there, same with my Aunt and her family along with my grandparents as well. Up there, I can go paddle boarding, swimming, ping pong, air hockey, walk to the library, hike, or just about anything else. One thing that I’m excited about that I probably shouldn’t be is that the phone service up there is terrible. In order to have wifi you have to go to this certain building about a football field and a half away from the cabin. The only reason I’m excited about that, not because I’m antisocial, I’m not at all, but I think I use my phone too much for dumb reasons when I could be doing something more productive. I spent most of Covid standing in my room wondering what I was going to do for the day and waking up at noon. Around a couple weeks into Covid, I realized that this was not going to work, and Covid was going to be a long time and not just for two weeks to a month. In order to pass my time, I made two of the best friends I’ve ever had. These two, I am lucky enough to have as my neighbors  and I now talk to them every single day. One day, I asked my friend to go to an ice cream store down the street with me. When we got there we thought it would be a good idea to go to the dollar store right next to it. In the dollar store, I thought it would be a good idea to throw stuffed animals at random old people. I realize now that that wasn’t such a good idea, and my friend told me that at the time. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I may have gone to Publix and taken a package of pepperoni and chocolate over the aisle and hit a mother and her kid. It wasn’t because my parents forced me to. I just really enjoyed it and I wanted to get better. It started when I started taking lessons at School of Rock one day a week. That was never enough. I just wanted to learn more, so my parents asked someone at the school to teach me privately. Fast forward six years later, and I am a junior high student given the opportunity to play the hardest solo played in the high school guitar concert. When my teacher first asked me if I wanted to play a song at the concert,  I said no because I was intimidated by all the older kids who are better than me. However, he convinced me that I can do it, and I should. As you can probably tell, my guitar teacher has been and he has shown me how to grow as a person. I remember this one time where I was about to forget to go on stage because I had never done anything like this on stage, and he helped me through it. “I usually watch whatever is suggested to me by my daughter, or I just watch the Hallmark movies on the TV.”

“Recently, I watched an ocean documentary and since then I promised myself I would not eat any type of fish and I haven’t.
What is the highlight of your week?
“Every Sunday I come over to my daughter’s house and have dinner with her family. It is something I always look forward to every week.”
