         <title>Proclamation of 1763</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main intent of this proclamation was to appease the Indians by limiting the the colonist to only settling to the east of the Appalachian mountains. The colonist thought that they were doing the right thing by just giving the native americans new land. The native americans felt as if they were being kicked out of their home.</div>]]></description>

Most of the colonist did not like the quartering act, and felt as if their personal lives were being invaded by the British soldiers. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Sugar act raised taxes on foreign imports (mainly molasses). Great Britain imposed this act so that colonist had no choice but to buy products directly from them. This also caused Britain's competition to lose a lot of money.</div>]]></description>

In this meeting delegates discussed what how the colonists would react to the Intolerable acts. The delegates wrote a letter to the kings demanding him to stop the intolerable acts. This was a good event for the colonists because they began acting as their own nation. </div>]]></description>

This battle started when British troops were sent to confiscate weapons from the colonists, and they ran into a militia. This was an important battle because the americans won. This showed the Britain's that the americans were a threat, and it also gave the colonists hope.</div>]]></description>
