At first I was unsure with the decision made, but after all it was a new experience and a new found interest of mine. 

Through the lesson, I’ve learnt how to read notes from do to do#. This has been very helpful for me as at first I did not know which buttons to press to produce the musical notes, so with knowing the notes ; I know which buttons to press. Moreover, I learnt how to reach greater heights such as playing higher S notes and more. Connecting it with the lesson, I learnt how to improvise and also produce baroque music. However it was rather hard as Trumpets were not invented during the 16th century when baroque was prominent, this made the perfromance harder for me.

What I would like to improve was the tone and round sound of my playing. This would decrease the wind sound coming out while playing and also make the playing smoother and better to hear. I really love Mr Woon, he’s the best teacher , he always kind to me, he never scold me , even if i didnt bring my trumpet, mr woon still so kind to me. In the class, it was very exciting. I learned about jazz, minuets & trio, and Brandenburg. These topic was very exciting to learn as Mr.Woon made it fun. Notes reading significantly improved and due to Mr Woon's guidance, my ability on making nicer sounds improved. For next quarter, i hope i can learn how to play pop songs that i love.

I feel like on elf the most interesting thing that I had learn throughout this whole semester would be the Blues scale which we had used in our assessment in Q1. We had used the scale to create our own improvisation in order to make a tune.
