POSSESIVE ADJECTIVES

-mi(s)
my

-tu(s)
your (fam. sing.)

-su(s)
his, her, your (formal), their

-nuestro(-a, -os, -as)
our

-vuestro(-a, -os, -as)
your (fam. pl.)

-These types of adjectives are used to express possession or ownership. When the pronoun is singular, these adjectives do not change according to gender. However, when the pronoun is plural (nosotros or vosotros), the possessive adjectives do reflect the gender of the subject noun.
-Mi casa es tu casa.
My house is your house.
-María busca a su hermana.
María is looking for her sister.
-Possessive adjectives are used to express possession or ownership. The possessive adjectives always agree in gender and number with the possessed object (noun), not the person who possesses the object.
-The possessive adjective SU has different meanings (your, his, her, or their). Its meaning is usually clear by its use in the sentence. However, if there should be any confusion, the preposition de plus a pronoun or noun can be used.
