I'm writing to you on a Sunday afternoon in early 2026.  At present, I'm in the fourth year of the Classical High School ‘P. Colletta’ in Avellino but I'm still finding my way, undecided between the desire to do great things and the laziness of some afternoons. Today, I'd describe myself as curious, a little disorganized, but passionate about sports and everything related to environmental protection.

I have just completed the ‘A Window to Europe through a Digital Screen’ eTwinning project, and what I learnt had a profound impact on me. It wasn't just about technical data: I understood that change never happens alone, but through collaboration and patience. I learnt that even if a goal seems enormous, it can be achieved one inch at a time.

As for my future, I don't know if I'll become a doctor as I hope or if I'll have changed my mind a thousand times, but I want to be someone who hasn't lost the ability to be amazed. This year I’m attending the applied sciences high school in Città Sant’Angelo and I’m taking part in the project “Window to Europe Through a Screen” on eTwinning. It’s a wonderful experience because it allows me to make new friends online and improve my digital skills through creative activies. 

Every Tuesday afternoon I take the English certification at school and I’m looking forward to passing the B1 exam.

I’m really fond of chess because it looks like a war between two armies which requires patience, concentration, memory and tenacity. Moreover, it teaches me to accept defeat and never give up. 

I have been part of a chess club for a few months and I have already played several tournaments. These days, I’m feeling so happy because I have just won an important competition. Personally, I hope I’ll keep on playing chess as it helps me to be more self-confident and calm in difficult moments.

Furthermore, I want to become a scientist because I really like studying scientific theories and testing them with experiments. Therefore, I’m strongly convinced that English will be very useful for this fantastic job and I’ll travel abroad a lot.

Hi, I'm writing to ask you what you're doing now. I'm 15, but I still don't know what to do in the future: focus on my studies or go straight to work.

Right now, I like playing tennis because when I go, I can think about other things. Even though I'm not very good, I still enjoy it and hope to improve and participate in some tournaments. I don't just enjoy playing, I also enjoy watching, and very often when champions play, I sit on the couch and try to learn something from them.

My name is Jakub and I am an electrician. I chose this profession because I have always been interested in technology, machines, and how electrical systems work. From a young age, I liked fixing small things at home and learning how different devices function. Over time, this interest turned into a career path, and I decided to become a professional electrician.

As an electrician, I have learned many useful skills. I can install electrical systems in buildings, repair damaged wiring, check electrical safety, and maintain different types of electrical equipment. This job requires precision, responsibility, and attention to detail because electricity can be dangerous if it is not handled properly. I believe that a good electrician must always follow safety rules and work carefully to protect both themselves and other people.

During my education, I also had the opportunity to participate in the eTwinning program.
