After, he came back to New York where he started his Financial Career. He married Amelia Sturges, daughter of a wealthy New York businessman. she died four months later due to tuberculosis. He later married Frances Louisa Tracy, daughter of a New York Lawyer, and had four children.  He accomplished many things throughout his life time. J.P.
