Non-Judgmental: I think the clip calls for judgment from the very first second. We're angry with the boy for ignoring his mother, we're appalled by the way he treats the dog. And then we realize we don't know everything. Maybe if we could reserve judgment like the puppy does, we could be more accepting of others shortcomings. Ours too...

This pup on the clip only has three legs. He’s missing one of his front legs, but that doesn’t slow him down. The nature of the adjectives that I thought of to describe the boy, and the situation presented in the video, changed significantly throughout.

Overwhelming
Throughout this video clip my mood has changed several times. At first I felt amused as the boy was playing a TV game and his mother came in and interrupted him. Then I was annoyed by the way this boy looked at his new crippled dog, but in the end I wasn't only surprised but I also felt so much empathy towards both of them. This overwhelming feeling that derived especially from the looks on their faces, has been gradually built inside of me towards both people and animals with special needs; a feeling that you just can't ignore.

At first I though of the adjective - judgmental because the boy was happy to get the dog but when he saw the dog's disability, he judged him by it and kicked him away. Afterwards, when I saw it did not affect the dog and the dog kept trying to reach the boy, I felt hopeful. That perhaps the boy will manage to stop being judgmental and see the good side of the dog - a loving, friendly dog. Eventually, I was happy because the boy managed to overcome the judgment and be a friend with the dog and this perhaps makes him feel better about himself and more optimistic.

Excited- while I watching the video I thought about angry as an adjective because I didn’t like the child's behavior, he didn’t want the dog because he was missing one of his legs. But when I saw that the child himself missed his leg I understood the message of the video and it was exciting. I liked the message behind of the video and when I understood it and saw the child's process from being angry at the dog to being friendly I was excited and this is the reason why I chose this adjective.

When the clip first began I was sad. All I could think of was how hurtful and inconsiderate the boy was to the dog. Not only did it reminded me of youth today and how preoccupied they are with technology so much of the time, but it also reminded me how judgmental people can me. The boy didn't want to play with the dog because he was "imperfect." However, as the clip came to an end I would say I was inspired. It was heartwarming to see the boy and the dog who were so "alike." It reminded me never to judge anyone else because we just never really know what a person is experiencing or struggling with in their lives.

I guess I felt surprised while watching this clip. first, I was surprised by the present the in the box - a dog. second, I was surprised to see the reaction of the child when he saw that the dog is handicapped and I was surprised again to find out that the child is handicapped himself. I was also touched to see that the dog made his way to the child's heart and made go outside and play.

judgmental - As I started watching the video, I immediately felt very judgmental towards the boy because he seemed very self absorbed and totally disconnected from theoutside world. As I continued watching, I felt even more judgmental because of the way the boy treated the handicapped dog. However, at the end of the movie, when I understood that the boy himself is handicapped, I realized that I'm the judgmental one. I believe that we shouldn't judge people too fast because many times we get the wrong impression without knowing all the facts.

moving- I chose this adjective to reflect my feelings when I watched the short film, as well as the concept expressed. The legless little child is gifted with the puppy so he will have a playmate to go out with. The intention behind the gift is to make him m o v e. Also the means chosen best reflects the idea of "moving"- both the kid and the puppy share a handicap which limits their ability to move. t!\

Inspiring- at first I thought the adjective I was going to chose is "angry", because the boy looked so angry all the time. But...after I've noticed the dog was crippled but still enjoyed playing and was so "alive", and moreover - that the boy was also crippled I knew I had to think of a different adjective. When they went out to play, all I could think about is that it's so inpiring to see people overcome their weaknesses and disabilities and live their lives as everyone else. If they can do it, everyone can.

I choose the adjective whole. as I was watching the video, more to the end when you understand that both the boy and the puppy are missing a limb; I has a kind of feeling or understanding of the meaning of being whole it has to do with the spirit and how you feel inside.

Resilient: Both the boy and the puppy exhibit remarkable resilience. Despite their handicaps each finds a niche in life, and then works to expand it to new locations and activities. Neither gives up on progress (though I have to admit the boy does make a good show of immersing himself in his video games and closing his space to intrusions).
