The focus of this resource is commercial space travel, with the tutor saying "I chose this topic because it's so current... with Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos recently going into space themselves, it was exciting to have so many up-to-date resources available to use, because of our access to BoB".

To facilitate the discussion, a suitable clip was found on BoB to set the scene for the discussion, generate interest and encourage learners to begin to form their own opinion. Then, to accompany this, the tutor has create some 'prompt' sheets (differentiated for Entry Level/Level 1 & 2) to help start the discussion off (see attached image above for the Entry Level prompts in a Twitter-style layout).

The tutor said that when they've used this resource before "having access to BoB, and the video clips, made the activity so much more engaging. Before, all we've been able to provide is a newspaper article and hope that the learners may have seen some clips of the news themselves. Now we can do all of this in the classroom, it's so much better."

When asked how their learners engaged with the task, the tutor said "they absolutely loved it! Fortunately, the group already seemed quite interested in the topic. Having the Sky News clip allowed them to see actual footage of Richard Branson on his trip into space. This generated lots of discussion, and many opinions were shared!".
