I chose this quote because in order to be a leader or a captain on a sports team, you have to be honest not only for yourself but also for your team as well, and not hurt your team by lying. Being a captain means you have to be accountable, whether it is in the classroom, on the court, or around your friends and family. If you lie, your parents lose trust in you, your family loses trust in you, and your coaches lose trust in you as well. This book has taught about how to go about being a captain and a leader on a high school sports team in the right way.
