One way of looking at the world is included in the book is by looking at colored people as you would to anybody else and not by their skin color. Rodrigo

The acts of writing and stortelling influence how you see the world because everyday when you see anything or anyone you're instantly perciveing the thing by writing your own story about them. Like, when I see a man with short brown hair that's not walking with flair I'm like "oh it's straight" no offence to my straight people btw that's just the conclusion I draw. I think that's similar for Jackie, not the straight people part, but the making her own stories about people. It kinda relates to bias, being a black woman in the South seeing all the white people as weird or something like that.

-Jacob Writing and storytelling can build character, personality, opinions, emotion, and information. In writing and storytelling, you can influence the way people see the world by giving them information about the world, through your lens. You can inspire people and build peoples opinions and feelings ny the message the author is trying to bring across. It is difficult to explain, but hopefully this makes sence

Well, there tend to be two changes in perspective/bias that occur from these. The first is internal bias. The more time you spend around a group or community means the more it will matter in your life, whether positively or, at times, negatively. Either way, your perspective will end up wildly different from the general idea of that group that people have. Speaking of which, people's outside perspective is the other major thing that changes. Once they know you are in a certain groupl, their perspective of you will begin to become associated with that group's public idea, in a way. That's all for now, my computer is lagging a lot from this.

Most people perceive the world in the way that they have been told to. It takes an intellectual person to disagree with those kind of values. If rich people have a lot of money, some/most (trying to generalize) of them will see people with less income as lesser. This may be because of how they were raised, or because they've decided this in their self conscious. Again, generalization. To keep with this topic, I think people with less income might see themselves as different, obviously if a person who isn't actually motivated to become the 1%, they won't actively be trying to put themselves in a place in society where they are equal. We are all different, but I think we all think about our differences a little too much, we don't focus on our similarities.

The characters could be given a way of looking at the world. In the writing it could also way which ways of looking at the world are best or worst. One way of looking at the world is included in the book is by looking at colored people as you would to anybody else and not by their skin color. Rodrigo
