         <description><![CDATA[<div> Chaque chromatide est constituée d'une longue molécule d'ADN associée à des protéines structurantes. Au cours de la phase S, l’ADN subit la <strong>réplication semi-conservative</strong>. Il s’agit de la formation de deux copies qui, en observant les règles d’appariement des bases, conservent chacune la séquence des nucléotides de la molécule initiale. Ainsi, les deux cellules provenant par mitose d'une cellule initiale possèdent exactement la même information génétique. La succession de mitoses produit un ensemble de cellules, toutes génétiquement identiques que l’on appelle un <strong>clone. </strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Les connaissances sur la réplication de l'ADN ont permis de développer de nombreuses technologies dont les domaines d'application sont variés tels que la police scientifique, l'agronomie, la médecine et un ensemble de biotechnologies. <br>L'une des difficultés d'utilisation de l'ADN vient de sa faible quantité. Pour cloner les molécules d'ADN d'intérêt, on pratique la PCR (Polymerase Chain Réaction) qui permet d'augmenter la quantité d'ADN exploitable tout en étant rigoureusement identique à l 'ADN d'intérêt. Sa mise en œuvre se base sur l'utilisation d'une ADN polymérase extraite de la bactérie <em>Thermus aquaticus</em>, qui reconstitue des brins d'ADN à haute température.<br>La technique de la PCR repose sur une astuce : les molécules d'ADN obtenues à chaque cycle servent de matrice à l'étape suivante. Ainsi à chaque cycle le nombre de molécule d'ADN double, c'est une amplification exponentielle.</div>]]></description>
