In the first week, We did some Ice Breaking and proceed with discussing the topic of the week which is the Manners in seeking knowledge.

Among the Manners to seek knowledge are we need to correct our intention as the intention is very important that any action couldn't be done without intention. We must correct our intention to seek knowledge only to obtain the favor of Allah SWT and to benefit the ummah.

Next, We must maintain good connection between the people around us when seeking knowledge such as Teachers and Friends. for us to maintain the connection between humans are very important to ensure the knowledge we obtain is blessed by Allah SWT.

After that, We also learned the manners with The Holy Quran. One of the few manners to take care of during that time is we can't place The Holy Quran at a place where it is not suitable.

This week, we learned about the Hadith Jibril.

What's interesting about this Hadith is that The Angel Jibril teaches us the essential things in Islam.

From what I understand, The contents of the Hadith may include Manners in Seeking Knowledge, The Five Pillars of Islam, The Rukun Iman, And Ihsan.

About manners in seeking knowledge is what has been demonstrated by The Angel Jibril in the hadith is that we as the one who seeks knowledge must be prepared with clean clothes and when sitting, make sure to sit closely to the teacher.

Then, I suppose Five Pillars of Islam is The first one which is very essential is The utterance of the Kalimah Syahadah. Then, the order of Solah. After that, the order of fasting during Ramadhan. Then proceed with giving Zakat and perform Hajj to those who are able to do so.

After that, Is The Rukun Iman. We need to believe in 6 of the Rukun. First being Belief in Allah SWT. After that, Belief in Angels. Followed by belief in his Books, His Messengers, The Day of Judgement and The Divine Destiny (Qada and Qadar).

Last one being Ihsan is what the prophet has told us is worshipping Allah SWT as if we can see Him but knowing the fact that we can't see Him, Know that He sees You.

This week, we learned about belief towards Allah SWT, Angels, and His Books(Kitab)

First, we must believe in the oneness of Allah SWT as the only god in this world. To Allah SWT we pray and perform acts of Ibadah because only to Him who is the only one worthy of worship.

Then, we also must believe in the Angels as they are mentioned in the Holy Quran and Hadiths. Even though we can't see them, it is important to know that Angels are also the creation of Allah SWT and they exist to carry out their duties assigned by Allah SWT. For example, we must believe in The Angel Jibril as The Angel Jibril is mentioned in both the Holy Quran and Hadiths and carries the duty of sending revelations towards Prophet Muhammad SAW.

After that, we are obliged to also believe in Allah SWT's books (Kitab). The Books are important as it is essentially the guidance Allah SWT revealed towards respective prophets chosen by Him. The Previous Books are now not valid anymore as The Holy Quran is the comprehensive and Completed guidance towards mankind and it is revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW as the final Book to be the guidance until the Day of Judgement.

This week we are continuing the explanation of the Pillars of Faith in Islam with the belief towards Rasuls, the belief towards the Day of Judgement and the belief towards the Divine Destiny (Qada' & Qadar)

First, the belief towards Rasuls. It is compulsory for us to believe in Rasuls as they are the messengers of Allah SWT. Rasuls are sent by Allah SWT to fix the belief and conducts of the ummahs they are assigned to. For example, Prophet Lut AS is assigned to his ummah to invite them to only believe in Allah SWT and to stay away from the actions that may incur the wrath of Allah SWT.

Second, as a muslim, we are compulsory to believe in the Day of Judgement. It is because we humans are sent by Allah SWT to this world as a test in seeking His favours and stay away from the actions that incur His wrath. The Day of Judgement stands as a reminder for us that our lives on this world is temporary and the afterlife is eternal.

After that, we must believe in Qada' and Qadar as it is very important for us to have trust in Allah SWT's plan because Allah SWT is the one who controls all, even fate. But knowing the fact, we still have control over our own actions. Thus, important for us to give effort in improving ourself along with having faith in Allah SWT's Plan.

This week, we learn about eschatology and Ihsan.

First, Ihsan. Ihsan is what we may know as what Prophet Muhammad SAW told us is to worship Allah SWT as if we see Him. But knowing the fact that we can't see Him, be sure to know that He sees us.There are two kind of Ihsan which are Ihsan in ibadah and Ihsan towards other creations of Allah SWT. Both are very important for us to maintain good relationship with Allah SWT's creation and Allah SWT Himself

Then, There's Eschatology. Eschatology is a field of study concerning future events that would happen at the end times. In Islam, there were many major and minor signs concerning the end times. We must prepare ourselves so that, With Allah SWT's blessing, will be placed among people with good deeds in the afterlife.

This week we learn about manners towards parents, neighbours and society and as a student

First, Manners towards parents. We know that along with maintaining our connection with Allah SWT, it is important for us to also maintain our connection with our parents. To maintain connection with parents, me must ensure that our manners are in place. One of the few being, to not raise our voice when talking to our parents.

After that, there are manners with neighbours and society. We know that maintaining connection with our neighbours are definitely a good way for us to live in peace an harmony as there is minimal misunderstanding. For that to be achieved, I repeat, Manners, must be in good shape. One of the example of manners towards neighbours and society is we must make sure to always take note of the up and downs of our neighbours life so that in their trying times, we will be there for them. That way, good relationship with neighbours will be maintained.

Last one being Manners as a Student. As students ourselves, we are obligated to act and maintain our good manners when seeking knowledge. Specifically when learning from the teacher as the teacher is also a normal person like us who can feel hurt due to us not maintaining good manners when learning. One of the manners being, to always maintain humility in seeking knowledge and never look down on others.

Last but not least, This week, we learn about appreciation for nature and Sustainability in Islam

We as muslims must appreciate the nature around us as it is a form of blessing from Allah SWT. Allah SWT has entrusted to us the beauty of nature which He has created for us to maintain and use to be beneficial towards mankind. We must appreciate nature for what it is as it is filled to the brim with wonders which we were yet to discover. That's Allah SWT's power for us. And to maintain such creation falls as amanah for us to preserve for education and for future generations.

Along with appreciation for nature, Islam also emphasises on sustainability as it is very important for us to make sure that we didn't overdo things such as the use of natural resources. As the goal of sustainability is to meet todays needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Thus, we as muslims must use our resources wisely to ensure that future generations will not suffer because of our own actions.

As per usual, any first meeting always begin with a simple session of Self Introduction towards all usrah members. After that is done, We proceed with the first topic of the week which is Niyyah (intentions).

First thing first, as a Muslim, it is important for us to first set up the right intention in doing anything. Allah SWT judge us when we do anything based on our intentions. Thus, in order to achieve the ideal life which is to be obtain the pleasure of Allah SWT.

what follows up after Niyyah? There is no other answer other than to practice it (amal). There are many types of action, When doing any sort of action, we must make sure whatever we are doing is not against the commandments of Allah SWT.

After all is said and done, We are highly encouraged to internalize the positive values gained from applying the right actions (amal) in the correct place and time.
