both study work is to emphasize the importance of social structures to advance a comprehensive "model"explaining how society works

conflict theories, unlike functionalists reject the emphasis on consensus and highlight the importance of divisions in society and concentrate on issues of power, inequality and competitive struggles.they see society as distinct groups each pursuing on interests sparking a chance for conflict. they examine tensions between class groups to see how relationships of control are established and maintained

Marx discussed how religions material needs separate people into different class groups so they have been highly influenced in conflict theories because they study the issues in different class groups and now it attracts their relationship and not all conflict theories are Marxist
Feminism= from at conflict theory focusing on inequality male domination and gender stereotype and how the inequality in implemented into modern social structures example education, legal systems and schooling. main focus is to bring about equality between the genders and minimize to eventually get rid of these stereotypes. official statistics and patterns of change were recorded to see how equal is being more developed into our society and more instinctual.

micro analysis is focused on one topic in particular with great detail. while micro level analysis focused on general idea of the topic.
micro=detailed macro= more broad
macro=institutional racism
