Sharing a Christmas Tradition

Our vetch plants, which we sowed in November, grew and we used it to decorate our altar to the baby Jesus. In the past, families made an altar to the baby Jesus in every house and it was decorated with oranges, wheat plants and vetch.

It's not part of the tradition but we also added postcards that we received from etwinning friends last school year.

We hope you enjoyed discovering this tradition.

We tried to participate in the meeting but for some reason, which we were unable to identify, we were unable to establish contact. But as we were prepared for it, we watched the video for the collaborative song and also saw and did the choreography.

We feel very sorry for not seeing and hearing our partners, but here we take the opportunity to wish you a Merry and Holy Christmas with peace and health.

Very nice activity .My children learned that during the winter the birds do not ibernate like other forest animals and therefore have difficulty obtaning food ,so they themselves can help them by creating small nutrious balls made with seeds fruits and other foods.

Bird seed cakes with 1A and 1B

Students from both classes (1A and 1B) learned about what birds eat and what they need to go through the cold season, then in class we put together different types of seeds and made bird cakes.

Each student took home the bird cake they made and hung it in a tree in their garden or in a park and observed how birds feed-up from it.
