Well grown ups tell us no because we are breaking a rule. A rule is something that helps keep us safe and healthy, but do we need ALL the rules we have? If I could get rid of one rule it is that you have to be sixteen to legally drive a car. (I say legally because most kids drive before then. I know I have) My first reason is what if a kid is stuck at school and their dad thought their mom was picking them up and their mom thought that the dad was picking them up? Then what would the kid do? Well if he/she had a car they could just drive home. Second the kids don't need to have a huge truck, with modern day technology they could make kid cars for kids to ride in. Finally if kids ride car they get alot  more freedom. Saw they saved up their money because they really want to go to the new star wars movie. All they would have to do is have the kid tell you and they can go see a movie. One reason I believe this is because adults want us to have kind things in mind and not embarrassing them. Teenagers always get embarrassed  by their parents and do not appreciate it.  I am not going to be the type of daughter who does that, hopefully. Another reason to support my opinion is that parents want you to have a good future and be a good example to others. Lastly, when we come to being an adult ourselves, we will have strict rules for our kids to use. We kids might not like the rules, but one day we will be thankful for the rules we had to use. For instance, when I flushed my fish I hoped my parents would not notice but they said "Cameras" caught me doing it.So of course I had to fess up.
