I have been watching the "Outlander" series on STARZ, and this is the theme song for the series.  I love the sounds of the bagpipes playing in the background, and It makes me think of the story line in the series.  The two main characters, Claire and Jamie have a wonderful love story that is set in Scotland in the 1700s.  They encounter many hardships and adventures, but what remains constant is their great love for one another.  I admire their relationship and that in spite of difficulties, they remain close and their love endures.  The song has a haunting quality to it that makes it light and airy.  Also, I love the lyrics.  The song echoes the thoughts of a lost woman who is trying to make it back to the Isle of Skye to see her love. ]]> 2020-05-07 15:04:23 UTC https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/senyja4d9ng5j4ob/wish/557691877 kimberlybradshaw https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/senyja4d9ng5j4ob/wish/563459075 Probably one of my favorite movies is "The Fugitive."  It was made in 1993, and I know it's old.....but, I just love this movie!  There is even an older version of the movie that was made in 1963. The main stars of the remake of 1993 are Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.  Harrison Ford plays a doctor whose wife is murdered.  He is accused of committing the murder although he was not even home when the wife was killed. The FBI gets involved, and the agent, who is played by Tommy Lee Jones, tries to track down the doctor because he believes he is guilty.  So many struggles and adventures ensue, but in the end, the doctor's name is cleared, and he is left to grieve the death of his wife and try to start anew after the tragedy.  I really like both of the main actors in the story.  I think I've seen this movie well over 10 times!  I can basically recite the script!  The whole crime and intrigue part of the movie captures my attention, and although I've seen it so many times, I'm always interested in seeing it "one more time!"  ]]> 2020-05-10 21:32:08 UTC https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/senyja4d9ng5j4ob/wish/563459075 nancyn3 https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/senyja4d9ng5j4ob/wish/581669884 this is currently my favorite movie because, it has so many plot twist that you cant even expect anything of whats going to happen. not only that but it also gives you many lesson as you watch along such as to be patient, to not be greedy and so on. my favorite character will have to be Tokyo because she kind of reminds me of myself, and my favorite couple will have to be Denver and Stockholm because even after they broke to they still looked after each other..]]> 2020-05-19 07:00:21 UTC https://padlet.com/kimberlybradshaw/senyja4d9ng5j4ob/wish/581669884
