From grass and trees

And my baby pictures. 

I am from a white house 

And wood porch. 

It feels happy and feels like home. 

I am from tall pink rose bushes. 

The sunflowers-

They stand taller than anything else in the garden. 

I am from Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July 

And brown and black hair with brown eyes 

From Angel and george . 

I am from cooking dinner for the children 

And sleeping in on the weekends. 

From “I love you to the moon and back”

And “if you want to cry i will give you something to cry about”

I’m from believing God is loving and forgiving; praying for friends and family. 

I’m from Hazard and Breathitt County and tacos and soup beans 

From my dad who I heard a lot about and have pictures of. 

And my Papaw who passed  before I was born but I heard a lot about him- he was really nice. 

I am from a place in Breathitt County. I like it because there aren’t too many people.
