I spent a year as the professor of logic, then I was elected a member of the Philosophical Society of Edinburgh. Sadly the head of Moral Philosophy in Glasgow died the next year, but I took over the position. I have been an academic for about 10 years now, and i'm planning on doing more. One idea that I had, was the idea of laissez-faire and the law of supply which created the basic concepts of modern economics. Which the first quote means, it is not out of the kindness of producers that we are able to purchase what we want to consume, but the benefit that they will receive from selling their product. The second one meaning, man is the only animal who has the mental capacity to bargain and trade items.
