She suffers residual affects from the seizure such as, noise and light sensitivity. Susie also has memory issues which could also be linked to her seizure. She suffers from some aggression issues but it is unclear if it is a residual affect of the seizure or maybe because Susie's mother used to spank her as punishment but Susie has taken her aggression out on her siblings and fellow classmates. She has most of her troubles with expression and getting along with others at times. Susie has also become very stubborn and rarely understand anyone else's point of view during a problem. In her home life, Susie is very independent because her mother is inattentive to Susie's and her siblings' needs. Therefore, the cones (which work best in bright light) in her eyes do not work as well as the rods (which work best in dim lighting). Susie is also sensitive to loud noises. This might be due to the damage of the bases of the cochleas in her ears. There are certain parts of the brain that allow us to think, feel, perceive and act.  The frontal lobes are the areas of the cortex associated with movement, sense of self, and higher mental functions.  Given that Susie experiences social and personality issues, her seizure may have occurred in the frontal lobe.  She also experienced some issues with movement.

These negative emotions can lead to perceptual blindness. This means that Susie has gotten used to her mother being rude and inattentive. Susie also has gained perceptual learning from her mother. Susie sees her mom spank her so Susie learns that she is allowed to hit her siblings. Susie has fallen into a pattern of habituation where she does not do her school work due to her lack of motivation. When Susie does her work and gets a star, it promotes dishabituation. During class she has altercations with her classmates and she already has a hard time getting along with others. Most likely her teacher tells her mother the troubles she is having at school, then when Susie gets home she gets a spanking for punishment. This would be positive punishment because when Susie acts up in school, the punishment will be getting a spanking. So now in Susie's mind while she is at school she knows that if she acts up, she will get a spanking for it.

Susie must suffer from retroactive interference, where new learning interferes with the ability to retrieve earlier learning. When she was 4 she suffered from seizures, then started to show aggression issues but it isn't clear if they came from the seizures. Susie can be aggressive at home to her siblings and  at school towards her classmates. When trying to explain why she is so aggressive with her classmates and siblings, Susie can't explain the reason, in other words she has a hard time trying to explain herself. From there Susie starts to have behavioral changes, then starts to realize she is at her best when she works alone.

She is currently in therapy and seems to be receiving proper attention. Some residual behaviors may occur like her aggressive behavior and her social abilities. Socially, she tends to go along with the crowd, so she might have to look out for the company she keeps. These may get better as time goes as long as she receives the attention she needs. Susie can also work on her improving her long-term memory to help her as she gets older.
