I think you already know who this is considering I yap so much in these birthday posts, but if you don’t…well….lmao, dirt on my face I guess.

Anyway.

Dude, I literally can’t believe that it’s been it’s going on 4 years of me Invicta-ing (my new, totally never used before participle adjective). I feel like a fandom hag, is that crazy to say? But in these nearly 4 crazy years, I kinda wouldn’t have it any other way—to be completely honest with you. It’s crazy to me that I was watching you and the big dragon in the sky (may we never forget) while I was finishing up my Bachelor’s degree in psychology in like….late 2023.

When you had early-ish morning streams, those were videos that I’d pop on while at my study group while I was mulling over cognitive psychology and research stats (that course made me wanna rip my skull clean off my spine). Your vods were there when I had to catch the nearly two hour bus ride home blasting as loud as they could possibly be in my headphones so I could stay awake and not miss my bus stop to get home.

And I’m still here after all that time. Time really has a way of catching up and making people remember just how fast it really goes, doesn’t it? Damn, man.

I say it so much that you’re probably sick of hearing it from me but it bears repeating every single birthday (and every other time in between): I know that Pawtrons are so proud of you. I wasn’t here for PNG-ga, only for 1.0-ga and forward, but I know that every single person who has been and will continue to consider themselves Pawtrons see the hard work you put in every single stream. There’s literally not  a moment that goes by that it goes unnoticed and I really do hope you know that. And know that it’s been such a pleasure to watch you grow, boss—not just as a mod but as a fan who’s always rooted for you even when you run yourself into the ground sometimes.

Honestly—and I’m gonna say it once and probably never again after this—I don't know where I'd be without Pawtrons and the INVICTA community as a whole. Like literally, I’ve been so used to being alone for literal decades that once I stepped into a community as kind and as wonderful as this one, I didn’t really know what to do. Everyone here has always been kind to me, so accepting of me and my brain to mouth filter that barely works on a good day, and the shy apprehensiveness that I had earlier on literally melted right off me. Things (mainly stress and expectation) felt lighter and easier to deal with the longer I was here. I gained a small little family that I never want to let go of or take for granted.

And that’s literally because of you, Taiga. None of this would be possible without the work and dedication you put in every single day even when you don’t have to. Because you don’t have to--nobody does, really--but you do it anyway.

I don’t know if I’m making sense but lmao. 518-ish words will do that to a person I guess.

But yeah, enough of the mushy stuff on my end. I try to bring a very nonchalant cool aura to the birthday function but I’m literally killing it (negatively) with all this sappy mushy word salad lmao. This is the weirdest experience I have had, making a note to someone who genuinely entertains me and I respect, knowing it will be read on stream. I usually have very strict boundaries to how I interact with ppl I watch. Somehow you ended up making me break a lot of those rules (tricky tricky Catman). But in a good way. You helped me grow in a way I can't put into words. You helped me through a very difficult time while I was recovering from a bad accident. I was dealing with a lot of frustration and hopelessness. Happy birthday to one of the strongest, most resilient person I have come to know over the last four? five years? I've lost track of time, we're old dude. Seriously it feels like yesterday that I found my way into one of your call ins and promptly managed to embarrass myself live on twitch. What a killer first impression from the great Noot Noot huh? For a really long time Taiga, almost every year that I've written one of these I've never really known what made me wander into your stream and stick around, I know the long running joke is that I just like being bullied which honestly is half true, it's nice to know someone will bust my ass without worrying about hurting my feelings but I think after all these years I FINALLY have a true answer to that.

You're real. I know I've mentioned that so much but Taiga you are one of the most honest, open, and forthcoming people I've had the pleasure of coming across in my time in the community, and I've seen how those traits have worked both in your favor and somehow also managed to be turned on you; yet each time you've overcome the obstacles in your path and come out the other side stronger and better for it. (Even if it doesn't feel like it in the moment.)

You are the kind of person that people turn to when they don't know what to do in almost any situation and you have some life advice or tip that helps pull them out of it, or if you don't you at least know how to lighten the burden of whatever others are carrying. You strive to do the best for yourself and those around you and I'm sure you get down on yourself when you feel like you've failed at that. You're always your worst critic and your worst enemy (they're not the same thing I swear!), but that's also apart of what makes you such a relatable person.

Everyone struggles, everyone goes through periods where they feel like they haven't lived up to a standard weather it's self set or placed upon us and you Taiga have shown so many people that it's ok to not meet the "standard" and still keep pushing, to recognize the milestones for what they are in the journey not just the bigger picture. You've taught me to appreciate the walk not just the final destination. I hope that you're able to do that for yourself too. You really deserve it my friend.

You have achieved so much in your personal life and as a streamer, even if it's not every single tick you wanted to hit you have overcome so much since even your last birthday. You've tried so many new things for better or for worse and continued to grow and blossom as a person and as Taiga Chama of Invicta VT.

I really struggle to name someone else that I admire the same way that I admire all that you do and how you do it. I've heard from friends and fans how much you inspire them to be their truest selves, to be more confident to overcome their own struggles because you treat everyone with an open hand. You talk about your struggles, your mistakes, the lessons you've learned over your years and you've made your bar a place for people to come and spend their time with their favorite bartender, their favorite storyteller, their favorite Alien Stage Fanatic, Their Favorite Crashout. There's a reason we all come here, and there's a reason we stay. You're certainly not paying us to (and if you are where tf is my cut?).

I hope on this birthday, despite the cringe you once again take a look around, at the new, at the old and at the geriatric faces in your chat and realize that we will always show up and out for our favorite bartender. Hell this is what year three? of me helping Ibey with these projects? We really do keep coming back like gluttons for punishment (kidding kidding I swear). I'm always excited when this time of year comes around because I get watched your community blossom in appreciation for everything that you do for us the other 364 days out of the year and hand it right back to you. Did you learn a new drink? I want to try it. What about a new joke? I'm all ears. Lessons learned? Some we need to even unlearn to be better. Have you entered your IDGAF era yet? If so the Oasis will have a special drink for you. So much has happened for you this past year and here you are entering a new chapter in your life. I know that these are rough numbers, as they do not include all the off strim collabs that you have gone to. But look at the sheer numbers of what you have done this year alone. February through April had the chunkiest major RP collabs that left the community still gagging over the collab months after. Neil Downe, Wayne Kerr, Whiskey Whiskers are some of the beloved RP characters that you have breathe into life and forever immortalized in District V, Lodestar and Minecraft. 9 major con appearances so far for all of IVT; these were a mixture of M&Gs and robot roaming. We are still not at the end of the year yet!! There are still more cons that in the plans!

My wish for you this year is celebrate the small victories. There are after all victories and they should still be celebrated. Sometimes things don't go your way and that is ok. So long that you have done your diligence, that's all that matters. If the plans fall through, know that you have done what you can to make the process go smoothly. It's not your fault. Yes it is disappointing and frustrating, but you did your part. If they can't match your energy, welp... flip em a double birb and cuss them out in viet (:

Congrats on making it through another year of life. I’m proud of you. I don’t know what you’ve been dealing with, what questionable decisions you’ve made, or how many times you’ve mentally said “fuck it” and kept going anyway, but somehow, you’re still here.

Don’t worry about getting older. That’s a problem for future you. Future you can deal with the back pain, the mysterious noises when you stand up, and whatever the hell is happening to your sleep schedule.

Like the streams with Jowol, I thought you were the most intimidating member through your model, only to be warmed up to your open-book personality and easy-going demeanor.

I adore how chill you are. Watching your streams genuinely feels like visiting a bar and just sitting and listening to a companion. It helped me greatly when I could play one of your VODs as I played videogames, cleaned the house, or just wanted to draw.

I may not be able to join every stream but when I do, I enjoy not only being able to interact with you but your community as well.

I’m not sure that words can really express how thankful I am for you and this community, but I also cannot draw or create art that well! I’m so sorry!

I hope that the future of this and you and us keeps smiles and laughter within people because that’s what it has at least given me.

I always come watch vods or clips of either you, or invicta as a whole sometimes when I’m having a panic attack or I’m anxious or stressed because it brings me genuine comfort and peace.
