I’m from a little fisherman's village in the south of Portugal (Algarve), Fuseta, a beautiful natural place, anyway, destiny change my route and I came to Lisbon to teach English. 
I started in 2004 and I love my what I do! Specially, because the contact with other languages.
 I’m a mother of a 5 year old girl, Alice. My favourite hobbies are visiting museums; travelling; listening to music; reading and going to the cinema but specially I adore to be with my family and friends, eating and having fun! I am an English teacher and I teach at two schools, 3rd and 4th year, students aged between 8 and 10 years old. I met Manuela this year at the same school where I teach. As a teacher, I am interested in the growth of students at all levels and I am aware of the need to involve students in different educational and creative activities that allow them to develop as people. Arts and Crafts are also very special to improve their motivation when learning a foreign language; also allows them to develop creativity and autonomy, as well. Therefore, as the ETwinning project is part of the school I joined this year, I would like to share some activities carried out by 3rd grade students, which consolidate the learning of unit 3, Topic: School objects. The Flap-school has got windows which can be opened to show the learned subjects. Students have the freedom to choose the colours they wanted to colour. In this theme, students learned to say in English some of the school objects they use every day at school: pen, pencil, rubber ruler, sharpener, glue, scissors, crayons, backpack, pencil case, notebook and book. I teach 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade.

In my free time, I love to travel and play table tennis. In my picture, I was visiting Girona, a lovely city from Catalonia.

This year, with 6th graders, we are coming to visit your school thanks to our Erasmus+ project! That's why we have decided to show you our school through some videos.
