Filipinos are progressively becoming more and more common and recognized in media and pop culture outside the Philippines! Even Filipinos who were previously out of touch with the culture are being reconnected with it throughout social media, this includes things like OPM, movies and social media! Filipino youth outside the country are also becoming proud to be called Filipino because of this recognition, and as a person who grew outside the country there were quite a handful who weren't. Not only are Filipinos becoming more recognized but international audiences are also appreciating us more and more, especially with Filipinos as an audience and as fans, we are one of the most supportive groups out there!

Not to toot my own country's horn, but Filipinos are some of the most talented people out there, celebrities and artists are known for their talent and versatility when it comes to their career! Filipino actors and actresses become OPM artist, and at times vice versa! Even one of thee most famous Filipinos out there shows this versatility and talent, our very own Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao, he can box, sing and uses his popularity as an agenda to even try leading the country! Or Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo and other half-Filipinos who represent the nation outside our own.

We can even apply carnival theory into why Filipinos are becoming more and more popular in media outside the country, take Jo koy a Filipino comedian who grew popular by using Filipino culture and turning it into humor that where not only we can relate to, but other Asians and Latinos can to, and where Caucasians and other audiences could laugh at. Or take the storm that video games is creating with having Filipino heroes with the power of electricity, poking at the fact that the country has its shortages, causing brownouts! Even in one of the most famous franchises of all time, Marvel and their cinematic universe featured the Banaue Rice Terraces you see used as the background here!
