Throughout this time, she has also been involved in several organizations on and off-campus, such as the Student Nursing Organization. As a gold member, Ms. Eick is responsible for giving tours to prospective nursing students. She also attends monthly meetings to discuss issues related to students in the nursing program. Sophia Eick has also worked in several hospitals and medical centers, where she volunteered for career development opportunities. In 2019, she was involved with Missions for Life, where she helped provide medical care to underserved families in Mexico. Ms. Eick is also involved in philanthropic activities and has volunteered for multiple charities, such as Project Sunshine, where she made crafts for children in hospital.
