Tezuka Osamu was on November 3rd, 1928, in Toyonaka City, Osaka.He was an extremely witty and imaginative boy, he grew up in a liberal family exposed to manga and animation.

The TV animation series, Astro Boy is known as one of Osamu Tezuka‘s seminal works that changed the history of Japanese Animation. As the first Japanese 30 min. animation series, it’s also established the base of today’s prosperity of Japanese Animation culture.
The series was also aired in various countries including America, China and European countries.

The original manga work, serialized from 1952 till 1968 on the monthly boy’s magazine, was also known as his representative manga work.

I grew up watching Astro boy, Since i was a little kid I remember watching it. It’s one of my favorite cartoon. The characters and the story board is interesting. I often imagine my own story in Astro boy, all the events that could happen. That’s the reason I chose Astro boy as my work.
