Gabriella Wilson also known as H.E.R, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. The habit of mind she used to become successful is creating, imagining, and innovating. H.E.R built her image off of a secret identity which is a metaphor. She stated "I am a voice for women who feel like they are alone in these situations, and that's what I want it to be about- not what I look like or who I'm with, but the raw emotion and support from women”.

H.E.R also elaborates further by explaining that the audience cannot miss the message if you eliminate the biases and curiosity of the messenger. She states in her interview "At this point it almost doesn't matter whether you see my face or not because people already love the music". H.E.R created a successful music career simply based off of her talents alone. She used her creativity to take a risk in the music industry which later resulted in her albums going platinum and winning a Grammy award for Best R&b album.

Links I used:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0KhGfAE_jo

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.E.R.

Martin Luther king Jr. was known as a social activist who led the civil rights movement. He was a religious leader. I believe that Martin Luther King Jr. used a few of the habits of mind to be successful.

The first habit of mind I would say he used is Persisting. MLK was arrested a total of 29 times throughout his life. This did not stop him from achieving his goals. (He wanted people to be equal and for African American people to have human rights,) MLK was threatened many times throughout his life, but he never stopped pushing for what he wanted.

Thinking Interdependently- throughout the civil rights movement MLK worked with many other activists. He knew that working together was a more effective way to get things done. Helped set up the SCLC (southern Christian leadership conference)

Managing Impulsivity- MLK led non-violent protests, he always thought of ways to go about certain situations. He would find strategies to use before acting impulsively.

Martin Luther King Jr. died was assassinated on April 4, 1968. MLK was successful for many things like leading the Montgomery Boycott, becoming the first president of the SCLC. led the Birmingham campaign, helped organize the March on Washington.

source- Martin Luther King, Jr. | Biography, Speeches, Facts, & Assassination | Britannica
10 Major Accomplishments of Martin Luther King Jr. | Learnodo Newtonic (learnodo-newtonic.com)

Cristiano Ronaldo is regarded as one of if not the greatest soccer players of all time and used various habits of mind to achieve his success.

First Ronaldo used the persistence habit of mind to become as great as he is today. As a young boy Ronaldo understood that he was not blessed with great athletic ability and he also understood that he did not have a lot of money to get into the best academies across the world. Because of this, at seven years old Ronaldo started working harder than any other of his peers to hopefully achieve his dream of becoming a professional soccer player one day. He began training twice a day doing one field workout to enhance his skills on the ball and then he would go do a workout using his own bodyweight due to his lack of financial stability. Young Ronaldo would do this repeatedly every day until he became 15 yers old and increased his regiment to three workouts a day and one recovery workout later.

Secondly, Ronaldo used the habit of mind of effective communication to improve faster than anyone else. At the beginning of every training the young Ronaldo would ask his coaches to pay special attention to him and the way he played so they could tell him what he needed to improve on and what did not need as much work. Ronaldo would always ask them to be honest and to not worry about hurting his feelings so he could become the best version of himself on the pitch.

Link I used: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-careerhttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/1339178-cristiano-ronaldo-is-a-perfect-example-of-how-work-ethic-can-ignite-a-career
