It is free of noticeable grammatical or spelling errors which can damage the credibility of an applicant. They also seem well versed in what the charity they are applying to stands for. They addressed all aspects of working for this charity, including socio-economic barriers, language barriers, and her faith in what dance can do. She makes sure to list off numerous reasons as to why she feels she is qualified. She also shows that she is knowledgeable about the charity and organizations. The cover letter is free of obvious grammatical errors. However, cover letters typically are shorter than this cover letter because the resume attached usually goes into my through detail, such as qualifications. Hence, there is no need for a dense cover letter. Typical cover letters are suppose to be quick and to the point so that the hiring committee can get a quick glance and if interested, turn to your resume for more detail. They have the qualifications to do their job well and benefit the charity. However, the structure of the letter could have done better to be reorganized. The flow of the letter made it a little confusing if she had the necessary experience needed to address the needs of the people in the community. Additionally, the letter was a little long. This wouldn’t be an issue if this was a different document.
