Focus on recognizing emotions and emotional disorders

Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear are the main characters inside of Riley’s head. Riley’s family is moving to a new town and her emotions are on high alert, not necessarily in a positive way. As she starts to lose parts of who she is, her emotions are working together to put her back together when Joy and Sadness are suddenly thrown from the emotion headquarters. Riley, whose emotions are usually controlled by Joy, is now under the influence of Anger, Disgust, and Fear. This movie is a great introduction to recognizing different emotions and their effect on our everyday lives.
