Railroads extended the reach of Europeans beyond the coasts and into the center of Africa. The quicker production of railroads allowed quicker access, faster access, and safer access to many parts of Africa, connecting the colonies, so they're not dispersed. The hard labor of the enslaved Africans helped with this production. The triangle trade (slave trade) supported the rapid development in the colonies by the enslaved Africans.

Move advanced steam engines gave ships the ability to carry a lot more passengers and require less space for fuel. This allowed quicker transportation, and quicker supply delivery. Without these advances, the scramble for Africa would not have been as successful as it was.

The telegraph was a machine used to communicate to others over a large area of distance. The telegraph was used to communicate to other colonies along the African coast, allowing people to notify others if they need more supplies, new colonists landing ashore, new development plantations or mines being constructed. Without telegraph, colonists wouldn't have been able to communicate to the other colonies as quickly, and wouldn't, have been able to help and get medical assistance.

The British knew how electric telegraphs and faster ships and railroads could help them win in battles and help them conquer. They created telegraphs that could get fast information from many miles away, they made ships that had quicker transportation and could hold more passengers and they used railroads to reach farther into the center of Africa. They used knowledge from a passed rebellions to conquer Africa. The Europeans didn't have the new transportation, communication and other technology they would never be able to Imperialism Africa.

the African enslavement is what fueled most of the development in the colonies. the Africans were forced to work on horrible conditions. they worked in fields of rubber trees, plantation fields, gold, coal and diamond mines, they also constructed railroads. this all lead up to the quick development in Africa.
