The quicker production of railroads allowed quicker access, faster access, and safer access to many parts of Africa, connecting the colonies, so they're not dispersed. The hard labor of the enslaved Africans helped with this production. The telegraph was used to communicate to other colonies along the African coast, allowing people to notify others if they need more supplies, new colonists landing ashore, new development plantations or mines being constructed. They created telegraphs that could get fast information from many miles away, they made ships that had quicker transportation and could hold more passengers and they used railroads to reach farther into the center of Africa. They  used knowledge from a passed rebellions to conquer Africa.
