The issue is that the main character rejects the dinner invitation from the potential supplier, and it's considered rude in East Asia. Also when they communicate, when the potential supplier says "yes" that's mean they understood but the main character though when they say "yes" it's mean an agreement, then a misunderstanding occurred which became one of the factors in the failure of the agreement.

Solution:

The lack of professionalism and empathy by the therapist. The therapist tend to be less empathetic and she justified all depressions are just the same, so she suggested things that most possibly irrelevant to the patient. Plus, the therapist’s attitude is really inappropriate to the point it is insulting the patient. Starting from lack of common experience, less focused, jumping to conclusion, etc.

solutions:

First of all, the therapist’s professionalism should be re-evaluated. The therapist must be more empathetic, be more focused by listening to the patient, and be more polite.

Second and lastly, the patient should stand for herself more. She needs more courage to correct the misunderstandings between her and the therapist.
