Freddie and her sister Trues, who was two years older, grew up in the city of Harlem with a single, working-class mother. Their mother considered herself a communist and taught her daughters the importance of fighting injustice. When Europe was on the brink of war in 1939, she took Jewish refugees into their home.

Freddie Overseen was only 14 when she joined the Dutch resistance during World War II, and only a couple of years older when she became one of its armed assassins. Together with her sister—and later, a young woman named Hannie Sc-haft—the trio lured, ambushed and killed German Nazis and their Dutch collaborators.This had a big impact with the German because they killed Nazis and the Nazis were unfair and they killed certain people for example the Jews and these girls helped.

I chose Freddie and her Sister because what they did was very brave because they stood up for people by killing the Nazis and what intrigued me the most was their bravery.
The act of resistance that Freddie, and Trues had was the German Nazis because they stood up to them and killed them and this had a big impact in society because they helped the Jews not get persecuted.

Their act of Survival was that the Nazis wont really suspect that they joined the movement to seduce and kill the Nazis because there were to young.And Freddie survived but died in 2018 from Natural Cases and Trues died in 2016

It never said how they died but it did say it was probably of Natural Cases because of the old age.
