It has since closed, but there was a class action lawsuit because they did not follow the appropriate laws while it was in use.

3. This affects me and my community because my several of my long time friends and my parents still live in that town. The dump had a strong impact on the air quality in my hometown and, in my opinion, is part of the reason why I do not have a great sense of smell. It's unfair because children who play there for hours at a time are inhaling these fumes without knowing what the affects could be. It's very harmful to developing kids who have yet to know what this is.
