This course can help students prepare for which classes and electives they need to take in High School. It is important to write high school plans while in middle school to keep students on track and make sure they are able to reach their goals. It will also make sure they do not fall behind or miss taking an important class like Spanish. It is importnat for them to decide what career path they are interested in following so that they can make sure to get on the rightwrite path during high school. There are several different diploma options to choose from. Taking this course also teaches students about all different careers and how to find out more information about them. This is a very important class for all students to take prior to entering high school.

He has won national championships and was recognized as most valuable player. We selected LeBron James because a lot of middle school students know him and look up to him as an athlete. Most students know who he is and would be interested to hear him speak. If he visited schools and talked about how important it is to take this class students would listen. In this course, students will be able to take surveys to find out more about their interest, values, and lifestyle. They will be able to use that information to get ideas of what they what to do when they grow up. They will learn about diploma options and how to calculate their GPA for high school. They will also learn about lots of different careers they might have never even thought of. For example, students might realize that they want to become an entrepreneur and own and operate their own business when they finish school. Students will learn how to look up information about the careers they are interested in.
