The reason is that the city is facing quite a few challenges and the mayor wants to involve the young people in public life and get the support of youth NGOs. Therefore he is asking for a meeting with young people and youth NGOs that are active in the city. Your task is to formulate – from your group’s perspective – what you would need in order to be able to solve the problem(s). Later on you will have the chance to present your needs to the other two actors. Your task is to negotiate with the two other actors until you find a common agreement on how to deal with the problem and who does what.
