The reason i picked Nike as brand i wanted to make a short film about is because i did research on current popular brands and Nike was second on the list next to brands like Prada, Fendi, Versace Dolce & Gabbana etc. I picked nike as it is a affordable brand that relates to a lot of people around the world. I have visited a few website that talk about the history of Nike as a brand and there are many things i will be looking at, such as: 

- It was Founded in 1964 By Bill Bowerman who was a track field coach at The University of Oregon 
- Opened it's first retail outlet in 1966
- Launched Nike brand shoe in 1972
- The history of Nikes prints and patterns, this can actually be found on the Nikes original website and will be useful to look at for theme inspiration towards the project. 
- Find out how Nike has developed and changed from when it first launched. 
- I will also looked at Nikes Previous Ad campaign and short films they all had a theme but was all very different.
